About Chuck
Charles J. (Chuck) Vickery is not only a wealth adviser at Elevate, but he founded the original company in 1982 as Vickery Financial Services. Chuck specializes in comprehensive wealth management. Financial education is a passion of Chuck’s, and since 1994 he has regularly taught retirement planning classes.
Chuck graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management. He has been active in the Athens financial community since his 1972 discharge from the U.S. Army. His designations include Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
Active in the community, Chuck has served as president of the Georgia Tip-Off Club, the Northeast Georgia Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Classic City Rotary Club and as a trustee of the Georgia Rotary Student Program. Currently he is a member of Gridiron Secret Society, the Athens Touchdown Club, the Athens Quarterback Club, and the UGA President’s Club. He is an Emeritus Member at Athens Country Club. Chuck and his wife, Patsy, attend The First United Methodist Church.
